Lexington police searching for alleged armed robber

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a man at gunpoint early Friday morning.

Police say a man was walking towards his home on Liberty Road, when someone approached him from behind and held him at gunpoint.

They say the suspect stole a wallet and a backpack from the man.

The investigation is ongoing.
