Lexington police search for man accused of groping woman in store

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who allegedly groped a woman at a local grocery store.

According to police, an officer was called to the Kroger on Richmond Road on August 28 after a woman says she was shopping in the store when a man approached her and touched her in a sexual manner.

Police say the victim quickly walked away and notified store employees.

The man may have approached or followed other customers in the store, according to police.

Investigators ask anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600.
