Lexington police says shots fired into an apartment might be burglary

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police says it’s investigating shots fired into an apartment as a possible burglary.

Officers say when they arrived at the Callabo apartments on Hollow Creek Road Monday afternoon they found an upstairs window with bullet holes and four holes in the wall inside an apartment.

It’s still under investigation, but officer say preliminary signs point to a burglary, instead of an act of violence because the front door was left unlocked.

No one was home at the time and no one was injured.
