UPDATE: Man identified in Sunday night standoff

UPDATE: LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police arrested Scott Koehler after the standoff Sunday night.

Koehler is charged with Failure to Appear (traffic charges), Probation Violation (for Misdemeanor Offense- Contempt of Court), Terroristic Threatening (3rd degree), and 2 Violations of Kentucky EPO/DVO.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police say they have taken a man into custody, after he barricaded himself in his home for several hours.

Police say he was suicidal and armed, so they set up a perimeter to negotiate for him to come out.

According to police, at first they responded to a domestic violence call around 8 p.m., which led them to this suspect.

They say after around 11 p.m., the man gave himself up without incident.
