Lexington Police: Man shot while taking out his trash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to police, a shooting took place on Post Road.

Police got a call Saturday night around 11 p.m. about a Lexington man who had been shot while taking out his trash.

Police say that the man said he stepped outside, heard a bang, then felt pain in his leg.

The man suffered a minor grazing wound and should be okay officials say.

Police say there is not a suspect at this time.
