Lexington Police: Man grazed with a bullet while mowing his yard

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man was grazed with a bullet while mowing his yard.

Authorities say they responded to Burkwood Drive for a shooting on Wednesday morning.

According to the victim, he was mowing his yard when a man he didn’t know pulled up in a dark colored car and started arguing with him.

He says the man then started firing shots.

One of the bullets grazed his leg, according to officials.

Police tell us that the victim fled to safety at the Speedway off of New Circle Road.

At this time there are no suspects the shooting is still under investigation.
