Lexington Police Looking for Bank Robbery Suspect

Lexington Police are on the hunt for a suspect believed to be responsible for an afternoon bank robbery on Harrodsburg Road.

According to officials, a man walked into a Republic Bank around 3:15 Thursday afternoon, showed a gun and demanded money.

Police said employees complied and the man walked out a back exit after getting the cash.

They believe the suspect may have been headed toward a neighborhood behind the bank.

Investigators said the man was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and a mask.
