Lexington Police investigating two armed robberies early Saturday morning

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two businesses were robbed early Saturday morning, according to Lexington Plice.

The Circle K on Buckhorn Drive was hit around 2:30 a.m. and the CVS at Old Todds Road and Liberty was robbed just after 3 a.m.

Officers say it’s not certain it’s the same suspect in each, but witnesses had similar descriptions at both.

Police say witnesses also reported a possible accomplice at the second robbery.

No one was hurt.
