Lexington Police investigating multiple hotel robberies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they are looking for a man they believe robbed multiple hotels in the Lexington area.

According to police, it appears the suspect in each case can be seen going behind the front desk and taking money from the register.

He is described as a man possibly in his mid-twenties, slim build, wearing a light gray sweatshirt and a black baseball cap, according to investigators.

Officials say based on surveillance video and information from witnesses, investigators believe the following cases are connected:

July 27, 2017 – Red Roof Inn at 1960 Haggard Court

July 28, 2017 – Super 8 Motel at 2351 Buena Vista Road

July 31, 2017 – Country Inn & Suites at 2297 Executive Drive
