Lexington Police detective suspended in connection to police chase
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington Police detective was suspended Thursday by the Urban County Council in connection to a police chase in the spring.
According to police, Detective Robert Terry was suspended for one day without pay and one week without being able to take a police vehicle home.
Police say this is following an internal complaint filed May 26, 2021 following a vehicle pursuit.
Police say no one was injured during the pursuit.
Details of the internal complaint weren’t released.
