Lexington Police: Construction Crew Helps Officers Identify Rape Suspect
Lexington Police said some construction workers played a big role in the arrest of a man who was accused of raping a woman at knifepoint.
Investigators arrested Desmond Henson, 24, after the reported attack.
According to police, a woman told officers that she had been raped by Henson at a Knight’s Inn off of Newtown Pike.
Investigators said some nearby construction workers were able to give Henson’s license plate number to officers.
Police said Henson was later arrested at a house in Paris.
