Lexington nursing home helps residents with bucket lists

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A nursing home in Lexington is helping to make memories for its residents by helping them with their bucket lists.

Cambridge Place finds out the one thing its residents want to do, then the employees make it happen.

Matthew Williams, 77, is a huge Cleveland Browns fan and a lover of all things Kentucky.

Williams got to meet Tim Couch Wednesday afternoon.

Couch was a star quarterback for the University of Kentucky who was the number one pick in the NFL Draft, going to the Browns.

Cambridge Place started the Making Memories program in the summer. Through the program, families have been reunited, residents have gone to the UK vs. U of L basketball game and one couple even had a wedding of their 50th anniversary.
