Lexington Mayor Running For Re-Election In 2014

Lexington Mayor Jim Gray announced Tuesday evening at a gathering of supporters that he would run for re-election in 2014.

Citing a deep love for Lexington and a desire to continue building a Great American City, Gray indicated his decision was an easy one.

"Many people have asked me, ‘so Jim, what are you gonna do in a couple of years,’" said Gray.  "Well, actually, I’m here to tell you I love getting things done, tackling tough problems, and I want to stay on the job, so I’m running for re-election in 2014!"

Gray is currently halfway through his first-term as Lexington’s Mayor.
