LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –A press release from Lexington Mayor Jim Gray’s U.S. Senate campaign says he has raised $1.75 million dollars in the first quarter.

Of that total, $750,000 came in through direct contributions, while Gray has loaned the campaign $1 million, according to the release.

A detailed report of Gray’s fundraising, along with Senator Rand Paul’s, will be submitted to the Federal Election Commission by April 15.

“I’m encouraged by these fundraising results, humbled by the showing of support and grateful to those who have invested in this campaign,” Gray said.
