Lexington Man’s Car Window Busted, Items Stolen

Some Lexington neighbors on Dorset Drive woke up to see that their car windows had been smashed and items were missing.

Andy Miner said his parent’s caregiver first notice the damage on Sunday morning.

He said someone broke his driver’s side window and stole his laptop, watch and sunglasses.

Lexington Police said they received several calls last night for vandalized cars. Officers said the targeted vehicles were in different neighborhoods.

Miner said he wants to know who broke into his car. He has posted signs around his neighborhood offering a $500 reward.

Police said most of the cars that had items stolen from them were left unlocked last night. They remind people to lock your cars and not leave anything valuable in them.
