Lexington man killed in Louisville double homicide

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man was killed in a double homicide in Louisville on Tuesday, according to officials.

The Jefferson County coroner says 27-year old Rodney Frey, of Lexington, was in the passenger seat of a car on Garfield Avenue when he and the driver of the car where shot to death just before 10 p.m.

Police tell Louisville ABC affiliate WHAS11 that they are still searching for a suspect.

Police say they don’t know what lead to the shooting.

The coroner says the identity of the car’s driver is being held until the family can be notified.
