Lexington man charged with human trafficking, rape

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man is facing some disturbing charges.

Court documents say 46-year-old Walker Wright, Jr. kidnapped a 15-year-old girl with the intent of trafficking her.

Documents go on to say Wright raped the girl, who has an intellectual disability.

He is also accused of giving the teen crack and marijuana.

Wright is charged with kidnapping, promoting human trafficking, rape and unlawful transaction with a minor.

He will be arraigned Thursday.
