Lexington man arrested for string of commercial burglaries
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say broke into three different Lexington businesses back on July 12th and 13th of 2016.
According to police, 33-year-old Donald Cooper broke into two construction-related commercial buildings and stole power tools on those nights.
They say he also broke into the Kentucky Pain Center and cut off locks to a refrigerator containing urine samples and other medical items.
Police say they tracked Cooper down with DNA evidence, after he left blood on that refrigerator.
Police say Cooper told them he is addicted to Xanax, but does not remember committing any burglaries.
