Lexington Humane Society needs HVAC

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Humane Society in Lexington has reported their 20-ton dog kennel’s  air conditioning unit has broken down completely, beyond repair.

They said that if they aren’t able to replace the HVAC soon, they’ll have to close the dog room to the public. With over 400 animals and the hottest days of the year fast approaching, the Humane Society has an urgent need to see this new AC unit installed.

Fayettte Heating and Air generously donated $10,000 to help, but the Humane Society says it needs an additional $25,000 to afford replacing the huge HVAC unit.

They have started a fundraiser, and have currently raised 60% of their $35,000 goal.
