Lexington home damaged after catching fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Just after 8 a.m. Friday morning fire crews responded to a house fire on Rogers Road.

According to the Lexington fire department, no smoke or flames were visible when they arrived.

Two people were inside at the time, both were able to get out safely, according to the Lexington Police Department.

Once fire crews made it inside the home, they found a fire and quickly extinguished it.

According to the fire department, the room where the fire was located suffered moderate to significant damage.

No injuries have been reported and the fire is under investigation.
