Lexington holds its annual Christmas Parade
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Despite the wind and cold, a nice crowd turned out Tuesday night for Lexington’s annual Christmas Parade, which is the state’s largest.
The parade included something for everyone with marching bands, floats, fancy cars and the star of the event, Santa Claus. The parade began at Midland Avenue, proceeded down Main Street and ended at Mill Street.
ABC 36 was proud to be represented in the parade as I rode with Amber Freeman on the back of a Christmas-red, Kentucky-built Chevrolet Corvette convertible owned by Dude Caldwell of Dude’s Muffler and Brake Shop in Lawrenceburg in Anderson County. The car, from Caldwell’s extensive personal show vehicle collection, was driven by Clinton Young.
The parade was presented by MetroPCS.
