Lexington Firefighters: Medical Emergency Led to Crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say a man was having a medical emergency Friday morning when he lost control of his truck and hit a tree.

The accident happened around 11:15 on Newtown Pike. Officers say the driver was doing work at the horse auction facility Fasig-Tipton when he hit a tree in the driveway.

Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free him.  They say he was conscious when he was transported to the hospital with injuries.
