Lexington Fire puts out deep fryer fire at Russell Cave Road McDonald’s

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A spokesperson for Lexington Fire says firefighters were on scene at McDonald’s on Russell Cave Road early Friday morning, fighting a fire that they say started in a deep fryer.

They say they arrived on scene around just before 5 o’clock Friday morning, but the fire was minor and was extinguished quickly.

According to Lexington Fire, the fire started in a french fry fryer.

They say no one was injured.
