Lexington Fire Crews Swamped with Bursting Pipes

The Lexington Fire Department said they’ve been handling a much higher number of runs than normal, mostly dealing with broken water and sprinkler pipes.

Yesterday, they responded to 98 calls, all about burst pipes.

Today’s count, so far, has reached 31.
