Lexington to close part of Waveland Museum Lane

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –  According to the city, part of Waveland Museum Lane will be permanently closed starting Thursday.

The city says Waveland Museum Lane between Millpond Drive and Winthrop Drive will close permanently November 15, weather permitting.

Temporary signs and barriers will be placed on the section of road on the day of closing. Permanent striping, signs and billboards will be installed later, according to the city.

The city says drivers should be cautious while traffic adapts to the new traffic control measures.
