Lexington business broken into with piece of concrete

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – For the second time in seven days, someone broke into a Metro PCS store.

The latest was the Metro PCS on East New Circle around 1:40 a.m. Monday.

Police said they responded to an alarm call at the business.

They got there and discovered the front glass window shattered.

Police tell ABC 36 surveillance video show a man taking a piece of concrete and throwing it at the glass then coming in and taking items.

Police are not sure what he took.

Last week, the Metro PCS on Leestown Road was robbed after someone took a rock, broke the glass door to get into that store and took a phone.

Police are not sure if the two are related.
