Lex Cath’s Mark Perry leaving for Troy

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Catholic will be in need of a new head football coach with the departure of Mark Perry.

Perry is headed to join Neal Brown’s staff at Troy as the director of football operations.

The Knights went to the 3a state title game in 2015; were state semifinalists in 2014 and region finalists the last two years under Perry.

It’s an opportunity the one-time UK player and graduate assistant says is too good to pass up.
