LemonAID website hacked

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — At first glance, Salvation Army said their lack of early registration for the LemonAid project seemed to be due to the registration forms going to the wrong email address.

However, officials say it was recently discovered their website had been hacked. The problem has been fixed, said Salvation Army, but people who registered before June 12 may not have had their information passed on to officials, and may need to re-submit their application.

No financial information was at risk, Salvation Army said, adding “The information at risk […] included the name, mailing address, email address and phone number of the adult completing the form. “
