LCSO: Child found in deplorable conditions during drug arrest
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies say they found a five-year old child living in deplorable conditions during a drug arrest.
Investigators say they arrested 30-year old James Anthony Reeves, of Lily, Sunday night at a home off Tackett Spur Road.
Deputies say they found glass pipes, straws, suspected crystal meth and a large amount of cash in the home.
They say in addition to drug charges, Reeves was also charged with criminal abuse – 3rd degree – of a child under the age of 12.
Reeves was taken to jail in London.
