Law Enforcement Helping People Keep Warm

The Office of Fayette County Sheriff and Catholic Action Center teamed-up and went door-to-door in Lexington Monday passing out warm clothing to those in need.

On Monday, the Catholic Action Center received more than 4,000 coats and blankets from ‘Gleaning for the World,’ a non-profit organization based in Virginia.

The C.A.C said there had also been a large number of coat donations from the community.

Warm clothing was also being passed out at the Godsnet Warehouse in Lexington at 614 East Seventh Street.
