Laurel County Deputies Track Stolen Items With Help of Chip

A tracking chip helped deputies track down some stolen items and some suspects in Laurel County.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a report of a burglary at a home on D. Anders Road near London last night at around 7:30 p.m.
Deputies said a shotgun, a Play Station 3 and a laptop were among the items taken.
Deputies said they used a tracking chip in the laptop and tracked it to a motel parking lot.
That’s where they spotted a man sitting in a van and asked about the laptop he was using.
They said 21-year-old Seth Harville told them he had just stolen it.
Deputies said 21-year-old Mariah Beach and her newborn baby were also in the van with him.
They said Xanax and Oxycodone pills were found as well.
Harville and Beach were both arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance.
The baby was released to a family member.
