UPDATE: Missing Laurel County woman found murdered

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities in Laurel County have identified a murder victim as a woman who was recently reported missing.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, Reanna Dodd, 53, of London was the female victim found off Amelia Drive. Her cause of death was asphyxiation, as found in her preliminary autopsy results.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Lieut. Chris Edwards and Detective Robert Reed continue the murder investigation.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities in Laurel County are searching for Reanna Dodd, 53.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, Dodd was last seen off Kentucky Hollow Road, about two miles north of London, on Aug. 29 close to 3 a.m.

Dodd may be driving a gold GMC Sonoma with a license plate reading 7957JE.

Anyone who knows Dodd’s whereabouts should contact the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000.

Deputy Brent France is investigating Dodd’s disappearance.
