Lane closures scheduled for north & southbound I-75 in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary lane closures are scheduled for north and southbound Interstate 75 in Fayette County. The closures are necessary for beam setting operations be completed for the bridge.  The beams will be set at mile point 106.3 over Interstate 75.

Wednesday, May 4 – 7:00 p.m.

• the north and southbound left/fast lanes will close at mile point 106.3

o    two lanes will remain open to traffic

Thursday, May 5 – 7:00 a.m.

• the left/fast northbound lane will reopen

Friday, May 6 – 7:00 a.m.

• the left/fast southbound lane will reopen

Wednesday, May 4 through Thursday, May 5 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday until 7:00 a.m. Thursday

• rolling roadblocks will be in operation at varied times northbound

Thursday, May 5 through Friday, May 6 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday until 7:00 a.m. Friday

• rolling roadblocks will be in operation at varied times southbound
