Lancaster Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

The Boyle County Sheriff said a traffic stop on Friday turned into a felony drug bust with the use of a drug dog.

Investigators said Curtis Ison, 54, of Lancaster, was pulled over at U.S. 150 and Stanford Road.  A drug dog was called-in to investigate.

A total of 11.5 grams of crack cocaine, prescription pills, marijuana and a large amount of cash were found by the dog in the car, according to investigators.

Ison had already been indicted for trafficking cocaine in Garrard County, according to investigators.

He was lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.
