KU: Storms Knock Down Lexington Power Lines

Kentucky Utilities workers are repairing power lines that were knocked down due to Tuesday’s powerful winds and rain in Lexington.

The intersection of Chinoe Road and Cochran Road is currently blocked while utility crews work to get power restored.

They report that around 900 homes lost power when the lines snapped in half at around 4pm.

Electricity should be completely restored before 9pm, according to KU.
