KSU opens application process for agriculture scholarships

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State University has now opened the application process for $750,000 in USDA 1890 scholarships for students pursuing a career in agriculture. This scholarship program is for new Kentucky State students, either incoming freshmen or transfer students, intent on pursuing a career in the food and agricultural sciences or related fields.

There are positions for graduates in labs, business, marketing, environmental restoration, precision data technologies and communication opportunities.

Graduates in the areas of food, agriculture, renewable natural resources and the environment supported by this scholarship program are essential to the ability to address the United States’ priorities of sustainable food systems, food security, sustainable energy and environmental quality.
