KSP: Wife shot and killed husband in Henry County

Campbellsburg, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman is arrested in Henry County after her huband is found with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.

Troopers say they received a call Sunday night from a man who said he went to his son’s home on Troutman Hill Road in Campbellsburg and found him dead.

State Police, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Henry County Coroner’s Office all responded to the scene.

They say they discovered 33-year-old Gary Bentley dead from an apparent injury to the back of his head.

State Police say an autopsy was performed at the Louisville Medical Examiner’s Office and the cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound to the back of the victim’s head.

Detectives have arrested Tasha Bentley, the wife of the victim.

She is in the Carroll County Detention Center, charged with murder.
