KSP trooper arrested for DUI

CARLISE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Kentucky State Trooper was arrested and charged with DUI and has been put on paid administrative leave.

According to KSP, Trooper Paul Hale was arrested on December 27th after he failed a field sobriety test.

According to documents, Hale was off duty at the time and had called another KSP trooper saying he was driving to a house to confront a person making violent threats.

He allegedly told the trooper that he had been drinking.

Troopers eventually found Hale at his house.

KSP says Hale will be on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
