KSP seeking information on robbery suspect

MADISON COUNTY, Ky> (WTVQ) – Investigators want help tracking down an armed suspect who robbed a gas station in Madison County.

Kentucky State Police say it happened just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the BP Gas Station located at 3002 Simpson Lane.

They say the suspect was wearing a dark colored bandanna over his face, a blue long sleeve shirt, khaki pants, boots, and a dark colored hat that said “American Sniper” when he came into the store.

Troopers say the suspect demanded the clerk open the cash register and ran off after getting money.

State police say If anyone saw any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the robbery or can identify the suspect seen in the surveillance photographs, they are asked to call KSP Post 7 at (859) 623-2404.
