KSP Searching for Jail Escapee from Christian County

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police are looking for an inmate who they say walked away from work release in Christian County on Tuesday.

Investigators say 29-year old Cody Lee Mullins was on work release at the Housing Authority Office on North Elm Street in Hopkinsville around 3:20 p.m., when he walked off and got into a red passenger car, possibly a Dodge Neon.

State Police say he was last seen wearing a red and black toboggan, red t-shirt with a gray long sleeve shirt under it, blue jeans and white shoes.

He is 6’2″ tall, 185-pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

State Police say he was in jail on burglary, theft, drug possession and tampering with physical evidence charges.
