UPDATE: Escapee captured in McCracken County

Update:  Friday, October 18, 2019:

PADUCAH, Ky. (WTVQ) – An inmate Kentucky State Police say walked away from a welding program at a high school in Paducah on Wednesday was captured Friday by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, according to KSP.

Investigators say 19-year old Christopher Peevyhouse was taken to the McCracken County Jail.

KSP says Peevyhouse has a criminal history of burglary, theft and weapons charges.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police are looking for an inmate they say walked away during a welding program at a high school in Paducah on Wednesday.

Troopers say 19-year-old Christopher Peevyhouse escaped custody at Paducah Tilghman High School just before 8 p.m.

They say Peevyhouse was last seen wearing navy pants, a khaki shirt, a UK ball cap and glasses.

Peevyhouse was last seen in the area near Baptist Hospital.

According to KSP, Peevyhouse has a history of burglary, theft and weapons charges.

They say if you see him or know his whereabouts, call police immediately.
