KSP: Pedestrian hit & killed in McCreary Cty.

MCREARY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say a pedestrian was hit and killed Tuesday night in McCreary County. Troopers say it happened just before 11:30 on a dark and unlit section of Wilburn K. Ross Highway, in the Stearns community.

According to state police, a driver was headed westbound when he hit a pedestrian who was going the same direction. Investigators say 27-year-old Mickey A. Hatfield of Revelo, Kentucky was pronounced dead at the scene.

State police say they do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the collision.
