UPDATE: 2nd person dead in Pike Co. crash
VIRGIE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police have confirmed a second person has died in a crash that happened on US 23 Wednesday in Pike County.
The coroner pronounced 54-year-old Ronald Dunn dead at the scene. 27-year-old Joseph Valentino was taken to Pikeville Medical Center where he later died.
KSP says the cause of the collision is still unknown.

VIRGIE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police say they are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one dead, and one person airlifted to a nearby hospital.
KSP says the crash happened just after 2 p.m. on US 23 at the mouth of Brushy Fork and Beefhide.
Troopers say the crash appears to be a head-on collision at this time.
A Kentucky State Police accident reconstruction unit is in route to investigate the accident.
The cause of the collision has not been determined at this time
