KSP: Man attempted to hire undercover detectives for murder

GLASGOW, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say they have arrested an Edmonton man on a solicitation of murder charge.

Troopers say Kevin S. Gentry, 49, was attempting to hire someone to murder another person.

Officers say they were able to arrange a meeting between Gentry and undercover detectives, during which Edmonton provided money for the act and information about the potential victim.

After the meeting Gentry was arrested and taken to the Barren Co. Jail.

No additional details have been released.
