KSP is looking for a third person connected to a murder investigation

LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A third person is wanted in connection to a murder in Letcher County.

Kentucky State Police are looking for any information regarding 33 year-old Clarence Russell Brown of Neon  in connection to the murder of Ricky Allen Gibson.

A warrant has been issued for Brown’s arrest for murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Brown is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inches tall, approximately 185 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

KSP says he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Clarence Russell Brown is urged to contact KSP Post 13 at 606-435-6069.

LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The body of a missing person was found in Letcher County and it happened just a few hours after two people were arrested.

Kentucky State Police say 41-year-old Dedra Keathley and 38-year-old Clifford Jermaine Caudill were arrested Wednesday night and charged with murder.

Investigators say it’s in connection to a missing person’s case.

According to the Mountain Eagle newspaper, the body of Ricky Gibson was found at a strip mine Thursday morning.

The newspaper says Caudill told police he and Keathley got into a fight in a bathroom with Gibson, shot him then dumped his body.
