UPDATE: Ohio County escaped inmate found

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) -State troopers are looking for an escaped inmate in Ohio county.

According to troopers, Jeffery Howard was a work-release inmate at Tamerlane industries who left jail around 5:30 p.m. for his shift, then never came back Friday morning as scheduled.

He is described as 5’10”, 175 pounds with brown-gray hair and blue eyes.

He was in jail for non-violent charges.

5/20: Sunday morning, a trooper tweeted Howard had been arrested and taken to jail in Clark county.
