KSP investigates suspected murder in Pike Co.

MOUTHCARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say foul play is suspected after finding a man dead in his home with an apparent stab wound.

Officers say they received a call Wednesday afternoon about a man found in his home unresponsive.  They say when they arrived, they found the body of 64-year-old Eddie Shortridge in the home, with what appeared to be a stab wound.

The victim’s body is being transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
