Police looking for escaped inmate in Madison County

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) –Police are looking for a man they say walked away from Bluegrass Career Development Center in Richmond.

Troopers say 44-year old Jay M. Anderson of Shepherdsville, walked away from the minimum security facility at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

Anderson is 5’3” tall, weighing 147 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, according to officials.

Investigators say he was in jail serving a sentence for Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense and Receiving Stolen Property over $500 but less than $10,000.
