KSP investigates armed robbery and adult kidnapping in Madison Co.

Investigators say that 28-year-old Anthony Lawson and 36-year-old Joyce Hembree unlawfully entered the home and confronted the reported victim. They say that during the encounter, the victim was assaulted and forced to get into a car.

Law enforcement say they located the suspected vehicle at the Fifth-Third Bank in Richmond.

They say the victim was freed from the vehicle and taken to Baptist Health Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Lawson and Hembree were arrested at the scene.

Both were lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
