KSP Investigate Death in Metcalfe Co.

EDMONTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting incident on Cedar Flat Road in Metcalfe County.

Kentucky Fish & Wildlife and Kentucky State Troopers went to the location on Sunday morning at about 8:14 a.m. after having received a call about a shooting incident.

Investigators say that 35-year-old Herbert N. Lattin was found about a 1/2 a mile off the road in a wooded area, with a single gunshot wound to the head.

No foul play is suspected.

Troopers say Lattin was apparently deer hunting from an elevated stand with the accident occurred.
